Teacher Licensure Reciprocity in Utah:

• Follow the instructions for downloading appropriate documents required for an Out-of-State application for certification.
• Complete the appropriate Praxis examinations required for teachers in your subject area. Find information on the ETS website.
• Provide Official Transcripts with your application.
• Include a fee of $75 by check or money order made payable to the "Utah State Office of Education"
• Verify your Educator Experience with the help of out-of-state employing school district.
• Provide front and back copies of your valid teaching certification.
• For new graduates from a teacher education program, complete an Institutional Recommendation.
