Steps to renewing your certification
- Oklahoma Teacher License Renewal
- You will need to have taught for one year under the Oklahoma Teaching License.
- You will need to complete a Resident Teacher Program and be recommended for certification by a district administrator.

The Oklahoma license is valid for 1-year before it must either be renewed or converted to an Oklahoma teacher certification.
A license may not be renewed if the teacher has been teaching for two years and has still not been recommended for a certification.
