  • The Ohio Initial Teacher Certification is also coined Provisional Teacher Certification. The two-year provisional certification renewal application is the same as the application used for you to change your Provisional Certification to a Professional Teacher Certification.

    To qualify for an Ohio Professional Licensure, you must pass the Praxis III assessment and successfully complete an Entry-Year Program. You must also submit transcripts verifying a specific amount of semester hours of coursework.
