The following are the procedures and requirements for Renewing your Missouri Teacher Certification .


• You will need to work with an official from your employing school district to renew your Missouri Teaching License. They should be able to help you understand all that is required of you to renew your certification.
  
  Upon completion of all professional development requirements, a school district official should complete all paperwork and submit an application for renewal to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in Jefferson City.
