Missouri Teacher Reciprocity:
If you are currently residing in another state and have completed a teacher preparation program, you may be eligible for a Missouri Teacher Certification.
The following are requirements and steps to be taken in order to apply for a Missouri Teacher Certification as an out-of-state candidate.

You will need to complete the application form.
- Submit Official Transcripts
- Provide Verification of Teaching Experience. The form is accompanied with the form downloadable from the link above. Have the form signed by an official of the school ditrict where you taught. The form should be sent back to you from the school district sealed. Submit the un-opened letter in your application packet.
- Provide front and back copies of your valid out-of-state teaching certification.
- Provide an application processing fee of $50 by check or money order made payable to "Treasurer, State of Missouri". If you have more than 4 years of teaching experience, add an additional $35 to request a Career Level Missouri Certification.
- Complete a background check. Follow the instructions from this link.
