Renewing a Mississippi Teaching Certification:
- Mississippi Teacher Certification Renewal
- Mississippi Class A Licensure Renewal:Complete 1 of the following:
- Complete 10 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in your related teaching area.
- Complete 3 semester hours and 5 CEUs in your related teaching area.
- Complete 6 semester hours in your related teaching area.
- Complete the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards process and receive your NBPTS certification.

Mississippi Class AA Licensure Renewal:

Complete a Master's Degree in your related teaching field or in Education.

Complete 3 semester hours in your related teaching area.

Complete 5 CEUs in your related teaching area.
- Complete the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards process and receive your NBPTS certification.
And 1 of the following: -

Mississippi Class AAAA Licensure Renewal:

Complete a Doctorate Degree Program in your related teaching field or in Education.
