Renewing a Minnesota Teaching Certification:

  • The following are the procedures and requirements for Renewing your Minnesota Teacher Certification .

    The Minnesota Professional Certification is valid for 5 years and may be renewed continually.

    • Submit a completed Conduct Review Statement.
    • Have an authorized adminstrator complete the employment verification section of the application.
    • Attach a check or money order in the amount of $57 for application processing made payable to the "Commissioner, Department of Education".
    • Complete all renewal requirements stated on your expiring teaching license. Gather more information on renewing your Minnesota Teaching Certification.
