The following are the requirements for acquiring a Professional Massachusetts Teaching Licensure.

Complete a Mentor and Induction program the first year of your teaching career.

Successfully complete 3 years of teaching experience.

Complete 50 contact hours of content based seminars.

Complete a Master's Degree or Doctorate Degree Program.
- Complete at least 9 credits in the academic field of your teaching licensure.
- Obtain a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification.
