Louisiana Teacher Reciprocity
If you have a valid teaching certification from another state, you may be eligible for a Louisiana Teaching Certification through reciprocity agreements.
There are two certificates available for out-of-state applicants, Level 1 Professional Certificate and the Out-of-State Certificate depending on whether you have fulfilled competency examination requirements or not. You will need to provid the following items in your application packet for the Out-of-State Louisiana Teacher Certification:
