If you are not presently employed, go to the website www.fldoe.org/edcert to apply for a renewal online. You can also print out a hard copy of form CG-10R. You will want to send the materials to the following address:

Professional Development requirements will vary for certification and number of subject certificates. Requirements may be found on the Florida Department of Education website.
The following are the procedures for Florida Teacher Certification Renewal.
Florida Temporary Certification Renewal:
The temporary certification is valid for 3 years and is, in fact, non-renewable. In order to continue holding a Florida Teaching Certification, you must qualify and apply for a Professional Teaching Certification.
