Steps to becoming a teacher in Alabama:

Call the Alabama Department of Education at #334-229-4271 and either set up an appointment with an advisor or speak with one over the phone. You will need to find out whether the state you are currently teaching in has a reciprocity agreement with Alabama. Or mail your questions to the following address.
